Verde is owned by PT. Vidya Era Sukses (VIES), a medium size enterprise with ca. 60 employees, registered in Bekasi, Indonesia since 1999. Verde business lines are fashion designer, with own manufacturing and retailing units. Beside making high quality apparel for public through its retailing channel, Verde also has an established (Business to Business) B2B line which include designing and manufacturing uniforms for hotel / resort and many custom design apparels (CDAs) for other firms. In many cases, Verde’s unique style becomes proprietary design of the customer.

Mrs. Efi Juwita is the founder of Verde, a ladies wear brand with unique character of blending the far east ethnical fashion with modern day to day apparel. Holding a chemical engineering degree, she continued pursuing her passion in fashion by self learning and attending various courses. “I would say that fashion has been my true passion for years, and I’d rather called myself an autodidact fashion designer”.

Her journey in fashion world started 8 years ago, from tailoring dress for friends, designing for commercial entities such as hotel / resort, and now establishing her own brand. “Our business model is to develop Verde as a cross breed of retailer and boutique. We provide a bespoke and limited edition of boutique style fashion with reasonable retail price. Our customers are from Denmark, USA, Panama, Venezuela, Australia and Indonesia, with main market segment of mature woman, age 35-55. We have our own manufacturing unit, as part of having a consistent quality, and therefore we can supply small quantity limited order,” said her.

On her fashion’s style, “Living in Europe for many years has been influential to the way I see fashion, beauty and culture, but yet I am still an Indonesian woman. I would call my style is a balanced blending of both worlds”. Mrs. Efi Juwita now lives in Milan, north Italy.
